Thursday Morning Weekend Events Update, December 18, 2008

Good Morning, Folks

It's the weekend - and only a few more days until the rotund red-clad home-invader comes into your house and leave you pressies or a lump of coal. Yes folks, next week is the end the the Xmas season and the weekend after is the end of the year - another one down... Just make sure you wander out and see as much of the Sydney festival as you can. Also FLICKERFEST tickets are now onsale - so get your season passes asap.

Also, this week sees the real start of the Xmas Celebration madness, with BLACK CHERRY, and HELLFIRE both celebrating the yuletide spirit (HELLFIRE once again gracing us with an international presence of performer par-excellence, Satomi). So whether your tastes are more to retro-Gothabilly, or perhaps looking for mistletoe in all the 'wrong' places, there's something there for most tastes this Friday night. Of course for the more traditional people, there is CAROLS IN THE DOMAIN on Saturday night, along with a Xmas serving of Doctors & Nurses at LOVE & HATRED.

See? Just a very short intro this weekend. So, let's just get on with the process of putting this list out :)
